Cindy Belardo is originally from Oklahoma where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, Pre-Medicine from the University of Oklahoma. She moved to West Lafayette last October. Her yoga journey started 4 years ago with a passion to help others and the environment. Cindy learned that regular care for our bodies in a holistic, preventive manner, considering mind, body, spirit, and planet is key to health.
She is passionate about a whole-istic approach to health. In 2018, Cindy completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training in Hatha-Ashtanga Yoga in the foothills of the Himalayas in Rishikesh, India at the Adi Yogpeeth school. She completed Cornell’s Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate in 2020, in line with the healing power of whole food, plant-based nutrition.
During her self-discovery, Cindy found the intersection of mind, body, spirit, and environment. She is passionate about empowering others through body literacy. She is also the founder of Menstrual Mates, a period education and product company based in Indiana. Cindy has a passion for body-positive, inclusive yoga, and all things self-love!
