This class is for kids aged 10-12 who are making the transition from childhood to adolescence. Yoga helps them see themselves and their bodies better in the context of their new stage of life. We will be using topics children are studying at school and issues for the age group, like growing up, to teach beginning yoga. The class is geared for tweens and is transitioning them to a more adult style yoga. We will work on body awareness, breath, and meditation in a fun way!
